I just had a great experience with Appliance Repair Specialists (northern Los Angeles area and Central Valley of California). I waited only a week for a repair call. Manuel arrive on time (!) and spent four hours working on my dryer. He had to undo/repair the damage done by three previous Sears Home Services technicians, who had installed the wrong parts, failed to install obvious frozen bearings, broken the blower fan, and burned out the dryer motor. I paid about $300 and the dryer runs perfectly. I could not be more pleased.
Aggressive, incompetent and all around horrible. For 3 months came and did nothing then yelled at me and left. Refused to give corporate number. Called management and they refused to release the service order so someone else could service it. 5 visits and no progress. Go elsewhere. Rescheduled 3 times in one day then arrived shortly after 9am (times given were 8am-9am, 10-11am, and 11am-12pm) and yelled at my elderly father that I had 5 minutes to get there or they were leaving. All around horrible. Contacted GE and they assured me they will be removed from their vendor list after watching the footage with me.
Thank you to Appliance Repair Specialists for a 5 Star experience. It is so stressful when a washer fails, can't do laundry, who will I get to repair it?? I called Lowe's Protection Plan, then received a call from Appliance Repair Specialists. The Better Business Bureau rates them A+. The technician was Andrew, he was great! After this experience, I feel I now KNOW someone in the appliance repair business, and that is a good feeling. I would definitely request Andrew's return in the future.
