We have had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Tafoya and Gold Country Veterinary Hospital! My husband and I were a little nervous about becoming new puppy parents, but from our very first visit, we immediately felt reassured and cared for.
Dr. Tafoya is incredibly personable, responsive, knowledgeable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. During our puppy’s initial visit, she took the time to walk us through everything step by step, answered all of our questions, and explained what we could expect as new puppy parents. Beyond happy to have brought my dog here. This was vet #3. I thought I was going to have to put my dog down because the previous vet quoted me 3.5x more for the surgery I needed to save my dogs life. Gold Country Vet Hospital went above and beyond. They charged me for what was necessary to save my dog and didn’t try to tack on any unnecessary services. I was greeted with compassion and empathy in my situation. They truly care for your pet/furry family member. I will for here on out drive the distance to bring all my babies to this facility for their care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my little man!
