“I can’t express enough how grateful we are to have found K9 conditioning! Stephen & Tracy are truly an amazing duo. They’re extremely knowledgeable & professional. We had our two Pomskies, Vader (6 M) and Luna (7 F) in K9 conditioning for a 4-week training course. At first, we had some apprehension about leaving our small dogs at a training camp that mostly catered to larger breeds. However, that apprehension was quickly diminished after meeting Stephen & Tracy and receivingconstant updates on the dogs and their training (photos & videos provided daily)Luna & Vader both went into the training course with the following behavioral issues: barking at everything, separation anxiety, jumping up on people and furniture, anxiety around other animals and people, bad recall, and ignoring commands.Stephen did an absolutely outstanding job correcting these behaviors and placing them on a great regimen that ultimately helped eliminate many behavioral issues. Not only was the training occurring with the dogs but with our family as well. Stephen taught us how to transition the training back at home properly.We truly have noticed such a huge change in both their behaviors and couldn’t be more elated with how the 4-week training course went. The training and new routine have followed us home, and we can say that the dogs are happier & better off for it.“

“Recently moved to the area and were looking for a good veterinarian. We have had so many pets over the years and our experience with small animal vets has been mediocre at best. That is until we discovered Vetco. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about Vetco at first. But from the very first time we visited Vetco Total Care on Laguna in Elk Grove, we were simply blown away. The staff has more than exceeded our expectations. They immediately treated us like family. Unfortunately, the staff of other vets that I have tried in the area always made me feel that I was imposing on them. Here was a typical phone conversation with their front desk: "Hi! this is _____. . ." They would respond: "Yesssssss?" Guys, I am not kidding. No hello. No "how are you?" just "yesssssss?" WTF. Keep in mind, I had no issue with the veterinarian. But their front desk staff (the face of their practice) were horrendous. Everybody has a bad day, but this became a pattern. It got to the point where I hesitated to call if I had any questions or concerns. That's simply wrong. Our pets depend on us to be their advocates. The outright bullying that I was experiencing with these other vet clinics could no longer be tolerated. So as a veteran business person and sales professional, I mentioned it to the doctor. . .BIG mistake! Enough about them. . .after our last visit with Vetco I told my partner of over 35 years that "this has been the best veterinary experience we have EVER had!" and he whole-heartedly agreed. Vetco sincerely takes an interest in our pets and us. We couldn't recommend them more. On top of that, if you are a Petco Vital Care member, you get all kinds of discounts and perks like free vet visits and pet food discounts. Also, if you are waiting for your pet during an in-office procedure, you can browse through the store while you wait or visit the many local restaurants and retail establishments in the shopping center. Oh, and did I mention, they offer grooming services as well! This is really a no-brainer for us from a quality, affordability and convenience perspective. This one-stop shop is guaranteed to take a lot of the unnecessary stress out of your busy lives. We highly recommend!!!“
