We had and initial emergency with one of our sugar gliders. He had a dental abscess, and was in desperate need of an extraction. After calling all vets around our hometown (Reno) to not vail, we were refer to Dr. sanchez. She was not only able to do the extraction, but she end up doing physicals in all my gliders, and she performed dentals in 2 out of the 4, all the same day! My sugar gliders are now recovering, healthy and happy! Dr. Sanchez was very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable at all times. All the staff was very sweet! Our vet couldn't get our dog in and suggested we try elsewhere for an urgent care appointment. Companions had a same-day opening and saw our 16-year old chihuahua and diagnosed ear infection. They were so very sweet and gentle with our elderly baby and got her all fixed up including a rabies booster and nail clipping! They were so wonderful that we might switch vets to Companions even though it is a bit of a drive for us. They are even open seven days per week - Saturday and Sunday are emergency hours until 8pm!
