“As most men, I was never a believer in facial procedures, but was finally persuaded by my friend to give it a try. My surprise was beyond imagination. Not only everyone in the office praises me now about the change, but even I myself can see that I look like I did twenty years ago. The makeover was everything I heard about Tamara's art and then some. What is happening in that cozy office is nothing but magic. I can of course claim that my new looks are extremely helpful for my business, but there is no denial that it extremely improved my attitude and self esteem. I’m in my late 30’s and a victim of thin over-plucked 1990s eyebrows lol. I don’t have enough hair for brow lamination and knew the best option for me would be PMU.

I started searching on instagram for Bay Area brow artists and landed on Erita’s inkscode studio page. Just by first impression, the work speaks for itself. You can tell that Erita is very passionate about her business and is a skilled pro artist. Seeing the before and after photos + videos definitely had me interested in getting nano brows done asap.

Luckily for me, I had the amazing opportunity to be a model (on my birthday!) for Erita’s 1 on 1 class with a student. Since it was a training session, the process did take about 6 hours to complete (normally takes 2-3 hours). As a model, you do have to be patient and understanding that Erita has to slow down to educate the student and allow them to get hands-on practice. If you ever have the chance to be a model and are concerned about trusting the student, I will say that Erita works on about 95% of your brows. She did go over the students work and made necessary corrections if needed.

My overall experience was wonderful! If I could give 10 stars I would. Erita was easy to communicate with via text and Instagram DM. Her personality is very friendly and relatable. She continues to further her own education and is a great teacher to others who want to start their PMU career. Erita is such a boss babe in her grinding era! I’m happy to have met her and her student. Both ladies worked great together and I left the salon suite very grateful for my new brows.“

“I had such a great experience here the other day! Booked it as a treat for myself after I passed an exam and now contemplating turning it into a regular maintenance activity. My skin glowed so nicely afterwards and it was so relaxing. I was a little scared of the extractions (first time doing them) but it didn’t hurt too much - just made my eyes water when it got to my nose.“

“I've had maybe two expensive facials in my entire life... at least I thought I had. After a ton of research on yelp and through various sites, I decided on Halee based on reviews and prompt availability. Now I finally learned what a real facial is. Let's break this down by stars. Star #1: Scheduling: prompt, clear and concise communication. Was super easy scheduling an appointment. Star #2: Atmosphere. Quaint, light, relaxing and inviting. It's a medium sized room within a facility and everything was cute, sassy, organized, and super clean. Minimalistic and concise equipment that all looked modern and updated. Bed was extremely comfortable, heated, and there was a proper place to put your things. Sudden extreme comfort coming here. Naps are a risk factor. Star #3: flexibility. I didn't know exactly what I needed, but I was able to schedule 3 services: facial (of some kind. I was originally thinking microdermabrasion) lash lift, and teeth whitening (wasn't sure if I needed it). There was no charge in changing the services I ended up receiving. Star #4: knowledgable. Halee impressed me as soon as I arrived. She told me what to expect and when I admit I was naive to facials, skin care etc. she told me she would take a look at my skin and let me know what she thought. The way she explained everything made me realize the magnitude of how much there is to know about products, skin, reactions, results and more. I have never in my life been more fascinated about skin care and the depth of the cosmetology world. It's amazing. Star #5: results. Halee advised me not to do the microdermabrasion facial because my thin skin would react negatively and because my concerns of hyperpigmentation were mild. Instead she gave me a cleansing facial and in the end... my face looked waaaaay more even toned, clear, bright and vibrant. I felt I looked 5 years younger afterwards and my face felt so hydrated and healthy the remainder of the day. Even days later it feels great and I've received many compliments already. In general, people often tell me I look 10 years younger than I am, but now I really feel like I do which has been such a positive lift to my confidence. I literally did not know a facial could do that. Speaking of lifts, the lash lift is something I will 100% continue to do. Instantly larger more open and youthful eyes. I look forward to returning for my next one in a couple of months. As for the teeth whitening, Halee didn't recommend it. She said my teeth are fairly white from the products I use at home already so results from the treatments would probably be minimal. Which leads to the final star.. Star #6: Genuineness. I wish I could give a 6 star rating because Halee truly deserves it. She absolutely wants the best for her clients and will go above and beyond to care for them, advise them, and get to know them. I was (and still am) very naive to skin care, however Halee has helped me so much by pointing me to products (not upselling but actually making recommendations for my type of skin) and I am so appreciative to have an expert in skincare I can turn to. So so so grateful I met her and I look forward to working with her again and again. Thank you Halee!!!“
