“I Got 4 quotes from 4 different tree professionals to have my huge front yard tree trimmed and thinned and my back yard hillside cleared of 8 large oleander buses and dead brush - Highest quote was $3800 lowest was $1700 (yes the same job!) - I needed to save money so I choose R&D (lowest bid) and gave them the job - I couldn't be happier - Roger showed up on time as promised : 5 man crew started at 8am and were done and 100% cleaned up by 2pm - all brush cleared and raked up - everything left spotless and swept. Front tree got a serious haircut and now looks amazing and won't snap on me in a wind storm due to the excessive weight on the limbs. DON'T hesitate to hire ROGER and his crew for all your yard / brush / hillside clearing or tree cutting - he knows what he's doing and won't let you down. “We recently had Millan Tree Service do some major trimming in our yard. I called them and set up a meeting. Rafael and his son came out to take a look and give me an estimate. We had a 60 foot sycamore and three, over-grown, Xylosma trees, for them to see, that needed major trimming. I knew the Santa Ana winds were coming soon and needed this work done ASAP. “Mike and Carlos did a thorough initial inspection and I had the estimate in my hands by the time they left. They are the guys who are on site to supervise the work crew so information does not have to be repeated. The team arrived promptly, put down tarps and plywood to protect plants and other areas, worked steadily and clearly know what they are doing with 70-foot-tall trees. They took down 5 large trees, thinned 5 trees that had not been touched in 30 years, ground out stumps and cleared dense vegetation. Most of the work was on a 45-degree or steeper slope that is some distance from the street. They exceeded my expectations and did a more thorough and extensive project than I expected. They cleaned up after the work was done. And their pricing was better than two other quotes I got. Their service was excellent.“
