I was referred to this company by my tree trimmer. I had high hopes because I respect him as a professional, but I was sorely disappointed in National Arbor. They charge $300 just for the initial visit which is applied to any future work, but as it turns out, they don't do any of the work they suggest. Tim came 45 minutes late with no apologies. He told me my trees needed to have the crown roots exposed. I asked him to provide pictures so I could understand what they should look like, but he insisted his time was too valuable to search out pictures for me and I could google them myself. When I insisted he show me, he reluctantly googled some pics for me but when I pressed him further for my specific trees he told me they wouldn't necessarily look like the pics he googled. He was shocked that I wanted a detailed report with pictures to show me what needed to be done. When your main business is consultation, you need to provide specifics. He was the most arrogant person I've met in a long time. He was at my home for no more than 15 minutes, and when he refused to send me a detailed report, so I could understand what I was supposed to do for my $300, I dismissed him. What a ripoff. This company may have been a reputable company once, but that was not my experience.

Do not use this company!! Treated my sick porta carpus tree. Said they it would be cured. Got a bill for $425 higher than my quote of $350, and three months later my tree has not only not been cured, but it is worse and the situation has spread!!! John the manager came over and said he didn't know what was wrong, and that I should give them water and nitrogen! Really???? Very dishonest company. Really bummed me out!!! I paid him the $350 he quoted me, and now I have to go to Armstrong to treat my own trees. Hopefully with this review I can save the next person from my mistake using them.

We were out of town for almost 2 weeks, and when we returned two of our tall, beautiful pine trees were brown and looking dead way up at the top of the tree. A tree trimming company referred us to National Arbor Service, and they were able to save our beautiful old pinetrees. No guarantee, but we were willing to take the chance, we love the trees. They injected something to kill the beetle infestation, which had come on fast and furious. It was an expense, but we were glad to try to save our trees. We had to wait a few months to see if it worked, but we were thrilled that it worked! We are very happy with the result. Our trees are once again looking healthy and beautiful. I will never hesitate to call them if we need help with any of our trees.
