“Been here many times over the years, always happy with the fresh cut. Just had the best experience yet with one of their lead stylists.”

“When I first sat in Hanna’s chair, she asked the usual question:
“What would you like for your haircut?”
My answer surprised even me:
“Will you decide?”
After watching her work with other clients, it had become clear that she understood hair far better than I ever would.
That decision turned out to be one of the best I’ve made regarding my appearance.
Hanna is the first hairstylist I can remember whose work never leaves me thinking, “Oh well, it’ll grow back.” Her cuts are clean, balanced, easy to manage, and continue to look good as they grow out.
What I appreciate most is something harder to describe. Somehow her work helps me look a little more like myself. It feels less like getting a haircut and more like discovering the version of yourself that was there all along.
She strikes a wonderful balance between friendly conversation and quiet artistic focus. Appointments are easy to schedule, start on time, and never feel rushed.
Waves Hair Studio is colorful, welcoming, and filled with natural light from the skylights. The atmosphere is relaxed, and everyone I’ve encountered there has been friendly, helpful, and supportive.
Hanna certainly has my vote for Best of Humboldt Hairstylist.”

“First time for the genital facial and it was lovely! I was nervous and Levia did her thing, talked me through the steps and even gave aftercare tips. Will def be back!✨❤✨”
