We are so disappointed in Dr. Chan!We were so rushed to sign what they called The Policy that we didn't even know we couldn't postpone night-time corrective lenses without losing all of the money we paid! We lost $300 because of this! They didn't explain anything to us & just rushed us to hurry up & sign & leave so he could see another patient. We felt hurried & unimportant & we couldn't even ask any questions about anything!When we picked up our glasses, they apparently didn't even have time to give us our glasses case & we had to go back & get it & then John the assistant kept telling us we didn't have an appointment when we did! He lied, cheated to get a contract sign without full disclosure and explain the contract in detail personally. When confronted, Jim C. Chan O.D. said go ahead report me to consumer affairs and medical board.

While the people who work at the desk are friendly and helpful and do their best, everything else about the place screams avoid at all cost. I have worked here for almost six months and I've seen everything I need to see to justify me never coming back to this place for any reason. The place is incredibly tiny, and Doctor Jim Chan O.D. only ever has two people working on site. Even worse, he's cheap to the point that he only ever hires high school or college students rather than people with professional optometry experience.
