David took the call and after I explained the circumstances, assured me he would take care of the matter immediately by calling PG&E and sending Carlos out to investigate the issue. “We cannot speak highly enough of Alpha Omega Electric (AOE). From start to finish, their team was a model of professionalism, timeliness, transparency, and skill. What started as a stressful and expensive ordeal turned into a smooth and positive experience thanks to the incredible people at AOE.

We were thrown a curveball when our home insurance company notified us they would be terminating our policy within 30 days because of the outdated and hazardous Zinsco electrical panel on our home. To make matters more frustrating, we had recently upgraded our sub-panel to a SPAN through another company, who neglected to mention the dangers of the existing Zinsco panel.

After calling seven licensed electricians, all of whom quoted us a minimum six-month wait due to PG&E scheduling, we were beginning to panic. Then we spoke to Duncan, who runs the AOE office. Duncan is a breath of fresh air, calm, confident, communicative, and clear with a great sense of humor. He told us he could get the job done in six weeks. Incredibly, AOE completed everything in just five, saving our insurance and our peace of mind.

Ryan Morrella is equally excellent. He came out for the initial estimate, patiently answered all our questions, and then went above and beyond when PG&E changed their requirements mid-process. At one point, PG&E insisted the new panel be installed in a location that would have required demoing most of our front exterior wall. Ryan handled the situation masterfully, working directly with PG&E, navigating their red tape, and ultimately saving us from having to deface the front of our home. That kind of customer service, advocacy and expertise is rare and so appreciated.

Every single person we interacted with at AOE including one of their co-owners, Paul Huerta who checked in to see how the project was coming along, was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our time and home. AOE communicated clearly throughout, showed up when they said they would, and delivered what they promised, all at a fair and transparent price.
