This place has been here for a while, but it only recently came up on yelp. The place was close to my house and gave it a try. My barber was Ethan and I got my beard trimmed and my sides shaved! He did an amazing job!!!! I have been to at least 10 different barbers in the last 2 years. I have found "My Barber"!!!! I am definitely going back. No Arrogance, not overly flashy shop. Pricing is super fair that I tipped him 30% Thanks Ethan!!!!

I've been going to Al's Chop Shop for some time now, and it's hands down my favorite barbershop in Aliso Viejo and honestly all of Orange County. After searching far and wide for a good beard trim experience, I can confidently say that no one but Allan has managed to trim my beard without chopping it up. If you have a larger beard and want a great haircut done right, there's nowhere better in the area. The shop is new, very clean, and has a great atmosphere. I've been a client of Alan's for 5 years now. I started with him when I lived 20 steps away from his shop, and I drive an hour each way to see him today. I couldn't speak more highly of his services. Alan is professional, attentive, and personable. His shop is clean and laid back. My work schedule can be challenging to book out too far in advance, and he has bent over backwards to accommodate me multiple times when I'm desperate and starting to look crazy.
