Sonia is very profesional and very friendly. I was looking for a place in Albany that wasn't too busy and I stop by this place to give it a try and I'm definitely coming back!

I'd been just letting my hair grown and chopping off six inches or so when it got too long for about 20 years. Last week, I went a bit too far and then it was ragged so my kid tried to help fix it. It made it worse. I call it an unfortunate home barbering incident. One of my kids goes to school in Albany so I looked around here on Yelp for a salon and settled on Ixia. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. Sonia repaired the horrible hair tragedy with a cut that flatters my hair type, kept most of the remaining length.
