I have been going to to this haircut since I was in College, I have been going to her shop for almost a decade. She is super friendly and always ask you how short do you want it and make sure it is the size and length that you wanted. She does an amazing job without ripping you off. That is the definition of Honesty. I am not the type of guy who likes to take my time and write a review, but for Irene, I absolutely love to give her a 5 stars review. On top of her good service and haircut, no one can beat her price. Very reasonable and make sure to tip her after.

I dropped in the store and she happily arranged me for a quick cut. She is a sweet lady with 25 years of experience. She always makes sure to ask me before cutting my hair. I will definitely come back to get my haircut again.

This is like your classic Asian hair salon that your mom takes you to when you're 12 to get your straight-cut bangs while she gossips about your neighborhood kids with the hairdresser LOL. IYKYK I found this spot looking for budget haircuts near my apartment. I have low-maintenance, thick, straight Asian hair so was essentially only wanting a basic trim from a professional familiar with my hair type. I made an appt for the afternoon a week ahead of time, and at arrival, I found that Irene was the only employee there and still working on another customer. She asked me to return after 15 mins, which I didn't mind. Interior is pretty beat, a bit cluttered and cramped. I asked for 4-inch layers, which was swiftly delivered within 20 mins. Irene was friendly and sweet throughout. Only $15 before tip??? WILD. After inspecting my hair at home, I saw that my split ends were gone and the layers were pretty even. Extremely fair price for the cut quality. I recommend Fashion Hair Design for folks on the hunt for no-nonsense, traditional trims. NOTE: My only issue was probably the hygiene. I didn't see much sanitation between cuts, lots of hair left on the ground and tables. I imagine it's hard being the sole employee, so it didn't really bother me that much (IMO, it feels kind of the same as going to your auntie's place who does trims for free)
