Yolanda is great with hair and color. The shop is cozy and tidy and clean. She adheres to all COVID guidelines and screens clients. Book in advance (usually 7-10 days is enough). Been doing my hair since the mid 90s. She knows her stuff.
I have been getting my hair cut from Yolanda since I was a kid (two decades!), through the location changes, etc. I don't trust my hair this much with anyone else! No one else has been able to come as close to what I request as she does; she also makes great recommendations but is respectful of whatever strange ideas I come up with for my hair. I got my dance/prom hair done by her every time (Yolanda is like a hair sculptor - she is extraordinarily creative, so it is a non-issue if you don't have your own ideas), and I got my first perm and my first color from her. Yolanda has years of experience that can't be beat! She is an expert colorist, and she is very up to date on current trends. And her prices are the best in the Bay! They no where reflect the excellence of her service.
