Oh my goodness I could not be happier with my first haircut with Therese. She is wonderful! She listened to my preferences but then when I got confused about what I wanted she mercifully took the reins and guided me to what would be best for the natural inclinations of my hair. I am thrilled with the result! I'm so happy to have found her... How lucky we are that she opened up in Alameda! Also bonus points for understanding and respecting my preferences for non toxic and fragrance free products.

Therese's mastery of all things hair is truly remarkable. I have been a client for over a decade, and she has never let me down-- even when I (boldly? foolishly?) asked her to take me from a Smurfette blue to a cool, icy blonde in one session. (She nailed it.) Her cuts are precise, tailored specifically to each face shape, and she takes direction thoughtfully and with poise. Therese understands on a fundamental level that feeling confident about your hair can make all the difference, whether you want to rock a multi-colored shag, a honeyed crown of super fine highlights, or just about anything in between. So, I'm not a "yelper" at all but I'm so thrilled Therese is back in the Bay Area that I feel I'm doing a disservice to anyone looking for a fabulous hair stylist extraordinaire if I don't share the news. Therese has been my stylist for many many years and I've followed her from different places near and far. I'm super excited that she has settled in Alameda at a very cute salon. The neighborhood is also really cute and street parking is super easy. Therese is incredibly versatile in her artistic hair talents...she can do bright colorful cutting-edge hair, just as well as she can do beautiful natural highlights.
