Great cosmetics retailer, except the prices are overly much. Competition is aplenty: online and some budget-friendly retailers sell same/similar brand products for half the cost. You just have to be savvy and aware of these other options. Ulta is not the ultimate stop for quality cosmetics.

Francesca, stylist: 5/5 stars — She has done my hair for the last 6 months and it’s been a great experience!! She has created incredible highlights and she is really detailed. She listens attentively and is truly an artist. She provides feedback and explains what can be achieved. I appreciate her kindness and sweet demeanor.
Ulta Salon (in General): 4/5 stars — the main issue is that they sometimes run out of product (in this case gloss) that is essential for some of the services (like toners). I recommend calling ahead of your appointment to make sure they have everything ready for your appointment.

Love it! But a female employee rudely TOLD MY DAUGHTER if she was planning on purchasing anything! I was so offended, disrespected by the prejudice remark this young lady stated to my little girl. My Sofia begged me to just leave it alone and go. Show me my baby feel worthless. What day does lady go right just say anything so negative so painful. Can you standing with a co-worker smirking she said. JUST BECAUSE SHE DID NOT USE ANY OF THEIR "MAKEUP" PRODUCTS THAT DAY, BECAUSE SHE FORGOT HER MAKEUP BAG IN LOS ANGELES ON THE 4TH OF JULY!
