When I lived in Whistler I only used Whistler Automotive due to their complete transparency, punctuality and professional work.I was having an issue with my VW, which I took to my local Pemberton garage (apparently a European car specialist…) and with diagnosis (wrongly the first time) and their recommended work, they cost me $700 before recommending what the issue could be. I lost trust in them and went back to Dennis at Whistler Automotive, who charged $180 to diagnose it with confidence. The Pemberton garage quoted $1250, and Whistler Automotive quoted $770. They saved our vacation! This was not my first phone call, but it should have been. I was told two weeks out by other places just to look at my Sprinter, which started idling poorly as soon as we got into town. As we are a long way from home and we also stay in our van, the logistics of a long-term repair could be a challenge. I was just trying to get the van in to run a diagnostic, so I would know what I was dealing with and they were able to get me in that morning and I had my van back by noon. Fortunately, it was only a minor issue with the DEF system.Thank you!

Needed to drive home to California on Monday, but had a flat from a small screw on Sunday evening. Showed up at Barney's at 0745 Monday. The manager was already there and examined the tire. He agreed that the tire mechanics would fix it as soon as they arrived at 0800. They fixed the flat and re-installed the tire by 0830 and we were on our way home. Great service and a reasonable price.Service: Tires
