“My make up routine lately had not been working. Although I was using quality products, menopause and skin changes over the past few years were causing havoc with my routine and my pocketbook! As a 55+ year old, it was time for a make up 'refresher' session. Primp and Proper offers individual sessions where they review your existing make up bag and routine, then they go through everything and make recommendations for both. What a lifesaver! In my case, I had mostly the right products, but 1 or 2 were no longer necessary and I was missing a couple of vital steps which I have since added to my routine. Faye showed me daytime and night out makeup application. No high pressure product selling and no ridiculously expensive substitutions. it was such a relief and a lot of fun. After my session I received an email tutorial and detailed summary of my routine along with links to any recommended products I needed to round out my make up bag. “I always have a good experience here. The rooms are clean and the aftercare products offered are excellent. The “waxperts” here are well-trained. I have never had any problems due to their technique. They also have high tech options to reduce ingrown hairs, such as the ion glow therapy. I love the fact that you can book online (though the navigation through that is a little clunky! Please improve???). Getting a last minute spot is sometimes possible! But they are getting busy for the summer season now, so don’t expect it. I love that there is a bus stop right at the location, Starbucks across the street for a post-wax survival treat, and is next to Subway for lunch.“
