I came to Naughty Dogge through a series of unfortunate events where another trainer exacerbated problems with my GSD puppy. Monique reached out, offering to help set things right with my boy despite her busy schedule thanks to her compassion and love of the breed (and all dogs).

It was starkly apparent to me how in tune with her pups she was and how quickly she taught me how to tune into mine. Her joy for what she loves, dogs, was palpable. Within 1 hour, my buddy’s spirits (and mine) were lifted with what he could do. Proving to us both he was capable in spite of previous bad experiences. I’ve had the privilege of attending both the original Shadow Week and Shadow Week 2.0, and each time I’ve come away with a deeper understanding of dogs, myself, and the relationship between us.

What I enjoy most about this program is the philosophy of letting dogs truly be dogs—giving them freedom and space to be themselves instead of micromanaging or over-controlling their behaviours. It’s less about rigid management and more about understanding where your dog is at: when to simply let them be, when to step in with support, and when a correction is actually appropriate.

The entire team at The Naughty Dogge are amazing. As the owner of a commercial dog walking company I had heard so many testimonials before having personal experience. One of our most challenging pups went to her for a board and train and the results were extraordinary. His recall, reactivity and tolerance for being handled imoroved dramatically. Its almost incomprehensible that it was the same dog. A shiba with reliable recall is not somthing I thought I would ever encounter.
