I felt completely at ease with Shannon Huff and really value her expertise. Women in my family, had to deal with incontinence and had to resort to surgery by way of bladder slings. I didn’t want go there. During my second visit (a full exam), I learned so much more about my bladder and pelvic floor. I restarted the exercises she taught me a couple of weeks before that appointment, and even that short stretch made a noticeable difference. I trust Shannon’s guidance and feel confident that following her techniques, along with CONSISTENT pelvic floor exercises, my symptoms will continue to improve. I highly recommend Shannon Huff. Being a senior; I had a slight fear in what was going to happen at Shelbourne physio; but all that disappeared really quickly. From the friendly welcome with the staff at the front counter to my initial meeting with Leah Taylor; I felt safe and welcome.
Leah Taylor is an excellent physiotherapist. She listened to me, describe the fall and recorded my medical history. She then suggested we move to a separate room which had workout equipment. She suggested exercises that would help my shoulder injury; which could be an undiagnosed rotator cuff injury. She suggested that i request an ultrasound from my GP; which i have subsequently done.
