Replaced two old deck doors with Pella doors. After a few weeks the doors were not closing properly but with some difficulty found out I had to call a 1-800 number to schedule an appointment and there would be a $300 charge to have a technician come out to evaluate the problem and further charges would depend on what the problem might be. Needless to say I was appalled at the lack of backup behind their doors and the significant charges that basically was no workmanship and product warranty. I hired a local tech who fixed the problem and was much cheaper. No more Pella products for me!

We would NOT recommend Pella doors, nor do business with Barry again. Barry does not provide loyalty to his customers. We could not be more disappointed with their services. Please feel free to contact me for more details.

I would give Pella Victoria less than one star if I could. As many others have noted, their product is often defective (we had one expensive patio door break within a week, three window door handles break and almost two years later still not replaced even though they are under warranty, one defective window that still leaks and has mold, one expensive door handle that had to be replaced, etc.). Their customer service is absolutely horrible, they are definitely hostile and you will need to complain endlessly to get anything repaired and even then we are still waiting for warranty repairs. I will never buy anything from Pella again!Services: Sliding glass door installation & replacement

I would not buy these windows again and would not recommend them. They are mainly wood and wood and water do not mix. Yes they are very pretty when new but any interior condensation will cause damage, no matter how well they are coated. We have also had issues with the exterior seals failing between the glass and metal casing causing leaks in heavy rain. Any water leak ruins the nice wood frames. The only way to fix this is to spend thousands to have Pella come and pull the glass and replace the seal or save the money and apply caulking to the exterior. The caulking spoils the look and arguably devalues the house. The most irritating thing is that Pella are well aware of this problem but chose not to tell us about it. Do your research, allot of people are having problems and there have also been lawsuits. The warrantee is basically worthless and our experience with the after sales service is terrible. You are far better off to buy a good quality vinyl window and then make nice wood jambs and sills inside.

We wish we could leave a review about the quality of Pella's products, but after submitting two emails using the web site's Contact Us form, one voice message, and never receiving a reply of any kind, we' have given up. Two other companies in Victoria replied to us the same day we left messages.

I think they offer a very good product, certainly better than most. But I was given an initial price in the store and that price rose significantly when I ask for a final quote. It was disappointing.

By far the best window company in town. Barry always goes the extra mile for every customer!

We recently visited the Oak Bay Beach Hotel in Victoria and were impressed with the Pella windows installed in the hotel. The warmth and beauty of the wood interiors on the Pella windows complimented with aluminum clad exteriors, and unique grill designs looks fantastic.

I am very disappointed in the service (rather, complete lack of service) that I received from this company. I first contacted the store in February to arrange for a quote to replace several of my single-pane windows. When I didn't hear back within two weeks, I called again. I thought maybe they didn't get my first message for some reason. Someone eventually returned my second call and we made arrangements for a sales person to come to measure up. I was told that I would get the quote the following week. When that didn't happen, I called again after three week and left a message but no one returned my call. Several weeks later, I contacted the company's customer service at their head office and I received a reply stating that someone would be in touch with me about my concerns. It is almost a month later and I still haven't heard from anyone. At this point, even if someone does contact me, I am no longer interested in buying windows from them. My concern would be that if anything happened to installed windows, would their warranty service be just as bad?
