Rob at Midas on Government Street was a great help. I have a 30-year-old Toyota that was making a bit of sound in the exhaust system. I took it to a garage in town, and they charged me $300 to replace the gasket and studs on the front exhaust pipe. Three weeks later, I was on the Malahat Highway and all of a sudden my car sounded like the Beverly Hillbilly's car. Motorbike riders were jealous! And there was a bad smell of exhaust coming in the car. I went to Midas on Government Street and Rob had a look. It turns out that the job that was done 3 weeks earlier had come apart. Rob had to order parts and do the repair over. Now here comes the kicker: I was only charged $72! I was over the moon! This was my best garage experience ever. The quote was $102, but Rob didn't need one of the parts, so it was cheaper!! Midas on Government have a customer for life. It's so nice to be treated so well! Thanks, Rob!
We always go to Midas for our vehicle maintenance. Staff are all friendly, accommodating and easy to talk to, especially Darcy. Midas always make sure that we are satisfied. They always give recommendations, quote the pricing for the repair and give discounts.
I can’t remember who helped me. It was a couple of people, but I think the guy that worked on my vehicle had a Name that start with a J.. Either way he fix my brakes and I turn signals and I’m very happy now. I’ll be back to get my e break fixed soon.
