Six weeks ago, our apartment was flooded from above (washing machine shutoff failure). Though it was late in evening, KCC came in with a full crew, who worked through the night to minimize the damage -- which was considerable. Over the week following, they were there nearly every day, working to remove large areas of wall, ceiling, and flooring in order to dry out behind with industrial heaters and dehumidifiers, as well as isolating the affected areas with hung ceiling-to-floor plastic barriers. We experience a major leak in our roof and need to file an insurance claim for the repairs. Our insurance agent sent out KCC to appraise the damage and work out the restoration details.
We did need to get the roof repair prior to KCC doing their part, however, they were great from start to finish. Heather, was wonderful at walking us through the process of our first insurance claim. Gave us all the details we needed and worked with their contractors to getting what our insurance agent needed for the emergency (such as getting our roof tarped).

The only quote in my renovation that came in UNDER budget! While gathering asbestos abatement quotes for drywall removal, I was shocked by the wide range of prices and fear-mongering tactics. Michael cut through the noise with his expert knowledge, friendly demeanour, and honest transparency. While most companies simply provided a number, Michael took the time to explain the billing breakdown and worked with us to stay within our budget. By doing some minor prep work ourselves, we were even able to complete the job for less than the quoted amount—when does that ever happen!?
