The Fish Hair Salon is now my go to for my hair when I go to Victoria BC since the hair salon that was at UVic is no longer is for two years.
The salon is easy to make an appointment ; the crew is fantastic; they really listen to what you want in you vision of the hair style you like to have. (Yazmin Morris who’s a hair color specialist I highly recommend.)

Ivy was fantastic. I’ve somehow managed to get haircuts for 24 years without ever finding someone this good. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and detail-oriented with her work. Not only will you have a blast in her chair because she’s genuinely one of the coolest people ever, but you’ll also walk away looking and feeling better than ever. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for both an amazing cut and an amazing experience.
From the moment I sat down, Uzuma took the time to have a genuine consultation with me about the kind of haircut I wanted. I've never experienced that before. I never felt rushed—instead, I felt like I was receiving personal attention and genuine care.
Uzuma made excellent eye contact, listened carefully, and was a wonderful conversationalist. Our conversation was one of the highlights of my visit. It was clear that he cares about people just as much as he cares about cutting hair.
The haircut itself was exceptional. His precision, attention to detail, and skill were outstanding, and the final result exceeded my expectations.
