It’s great just to walk through and take in the art

Chintz is a maximalist delight — layered, bold, and unapologetically decorative. With favourites like McKenzie-Childs, John Derian, and Michael Aram, it’s less about cutting-edge design and more about whimsical finishing touches that elevate a space. Service is friendly and attentive, and it’s a fun spot to wander, browse, and pick up home accents.

I parked in their lot as I intended to shop there. First I went across to Value village. I got a parking ticket. Then back to Chintz. I shipped, bought a few things. At the till the cashier said” I saw you got a ticket”. I told her my fault. Oh well. She signed me up as a custumer then said” customers don’t get tickets”. Asked for and zeroed the ticket. Great selection, very pleasant staff. I will be back

Just beautiful and can’t imagine the amount of work maintaining a store like this. Beautiful display and very unique items.

I love the decor and layout of this store. It's got very unique pieces that you can't get from anywhere else.

Looks like an amazing selection of items...but i ll never know ! I was unable to gain entery into the store. I get it, It's a high security area at the corner of Swift and Store St. There is a bell to ring at the front door which i rang several times to no avail. I waited over 20 min at the entrance and still no one came to the door. The website stated that the store was open. But perhaps clearly Chintz is understaffed. There goes 40 minutes of paid parking out the window :( Not judging the bizz for taking steps to protect your store and staff in a downtown high crime area. It is clear that running a successful business in this downtown area has its challenges due to crime and unfortunate social issues. However, perhaps more staff to assist customers in accessing your shop would br a worthwhile investment? If your going to keep the front door secure 100 percent of you're operating hours... There has to be a way to make your store more welcoming, inviting to those consumers who want to spend money and support your beautiful store?

A maximalist's dream store. Saturated with colour, something to see in every glance. A wealth of entertaining, home decor, outdoor, and faux greenery items. Lovely.
