West End Paint & Hardware is a helpful shop known for its impressive range of goods stacked to the ceiling. Customers appreciate the friendly service, good prices, and the convenience of the store. It has an old time country hardware store feel with wooden floors. Despite being small, it is well organized and offers key cutting services that surpass those of larger stores. They carry some key items like real lightbulbs and provide great service, such as mixing a combo of colours perfectly to match a swatch. The proprietor is personable and knowledgeable, making it a handy place to find quality products and services. Customers also value the quick and efficient locksmith service, with Bruce arriving in under 20 minutes to help unlock a door or troubleshoot stubborn locks. Overall, it remains a neighborhood staple with a friendly atmosphere and reliable service.
An absolute hidden gem! Don’t let the modest storefront fool you—West End Paint & Hardware is much bigger on the inside than it appears, with an impressive selection of products.
Be sure to ask for Bruce! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and a true expert at key cutting. His expertise and attention to detail make all the difference.
A fantastic local business that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended!
Called the owner on a Sunday as a friend had an emergency. His front door lock was broken and he was going through some tough times. I needed a favour and Bruce jumped to the pump. He came over before noon and fixed my friend's lock. Service does not get any better than this. We love this little shop - they have been around for years and years. Would absolutely recommend them. Thank you Bruce. Very much appreciated. June and Nelson
