I'm not a regular customer as I live in Toronto; but when I'm in Vancouver on business, I take some personal time to pop into Fuzz at the Kitsilano branch. I love the vibe! Fuzz on the west coast knows customer service, and I think that the manager there, (Clarence) has something to do with this welcoming but still professional style. I really like the Fuzz Body Lotion. Smells yummy but not over-powering.
I always have a good experience here. The rooms are clean and the aftercare products offered are excellent. The “waxperts” here are well-trained. I have never had any problems due to their technique. They also have high tech options to reduce ingrown hairs, such as the ion glow therapy. I love the fact that you can book online (though the navigation through that is a little clunky! Please improve???). Getting a last minute spot is sometimes possible! But they are getting busy for the summer season now, so don’t expect it. I love that there is a bus stop right at the location, Starbucks across the street for a post-wax survival treat, and is next to Subway for lunch.
I booked a wax before my trip through class pass and didn't receive a notice for it so I planned my day around it and worked all day, didnt think of checking throughout the day if my appointment was still confirmed. Long story short, I was on my way over and was told by the person on the phone that they were fully booked and my appointment was cancelled. I wasn't advised and pretty upset since I couldn't book anything in the evening since it was too late in the day to get an appointment anywhere else.
