I highly recommend Stanley Bark for dog grooming! They are professional, priced very reasonable, and friendly. I have been taking my dog Lila here for around 2 years and wouldn’t take her anywhere else. She tends to be anxious around new people but warmed up right away to James. I also just brought London for her first groom and she seems very happy! Thank you again!

Just took our doggo to see James today for her first professional groom ever, at 4.5 years old. She strutted out of there with all the happy sass possible from a husky-ish pooch, and was apparently great for him. That in itself says a lot, because she is great at reading people and wouldn't have put up with grooming from anybody she didn't trust fully. She smells great, her nails are trimmed and filed perfectly, and she's enjoying the coziest nap on the couch after her suuuuuper rough spa day at Stanley Bark. Thanks folks! See you in a few months!

James is wonderful with my timid chi-minpin. Mischa has been going here since she was a puppy, for nails trim. He’s fast, thorough, patient. Winnie is also friendly & they always have time for a quick walk-in, just call ahead.

We recently brought our Malamute-Husky mix, Katsu, in for a grooming session, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the team was fantastic—Katsu’s coat is shiny, soft, and looks amazing, and his shedding is finally under control! It’s such a relief to see him looking and feeling his best. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff for taking such great care of him. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend this place to any pet owner who wants their dog to look and feel their best!

James and all the staff were super nice and very accommodating. James is a Pro in dog handling. I have a very scared and reactive maltese who doesn’t want to be touch except us.James did his best in grooming him fully with lots of patience. We will definitely be coming back to this grooming place even if we’re from Vancouver Island. Well recommended grooming place!❤️

We had two specific requests: please do not groom our Bernedoodle—whose wavy hair is more similar to a Bernese Mountain Dog—to look like a Poodle. We communicated this both over the phone and again when we dropped him off, and we were assured it would be understood. Additionally, we requested that his coat not be cut too short. However, they groomed him to resemble a Poodle and cut his coat very short. They also unevenly trimmed his head. We are, to say the least, unimpressed.
