Ok, not great! My nails are very boxy and chunky. I came in for an infill and to go short but these went by what I had in mind . I Was also quoted $65 on the phone and had a half flower painted on my thumb nails and got charged $84. The girls are friendly but it’s the most expensive Infill I've ever had and I’m about to file the bullies and corners down. The colour of the base isn’t pink enough, looks almost yellow in some lighting, like they do after 2 weeks!

Went here for 5+ years and this place was so good for so long… Then they recently changed ownership and my favourite technicians left. My first visit without them and my manicure chipped after 2 days. I haven’t returned since. It’s like an entirely different salon now.

I had a Pedicure here a while ago and was satisfied with the service. So I went in today to ask about their mini princess manicure services. I was hoping to bring my daughter there this weekend for a special treat to celebrate her birthday. They had advised me the little princess manicure only comes with regular nail polish which kids will have to sit for at leave 15 minutes just to let it dry and often times it won't dry completely and get smashed quickly after it's done. Yes so they know it is not ideal for kids. I then asked can you upgrade this to gel instead of regular nail polish, so it can dry completely without letting kids sit for long, I'm willing to pay any add-on price . The answer I got was it's either gel with no other services (cuticle clean up) with kids price (28.00 pre-tax), or it's regular full price if everything included (cuticle clean up + gel, 50.00 pre-tax). Up to this point, I have the feeling that instead of accommodating customer needs, they are trying to force me to go for the regular price services and refuse to provide any flexibility. I already told them there will be 2 girls going, so I potentially will be paying $50 more for two princesses. Replacing nail polish by gel doesn't add any extra steps to the process, it's only at the last step when they apply it that they just need to use gel instead of polish. I don't see it make sense to change $50.00 more for that. I can't say that I'm happy with such service mind. I will not go back to this place if that's the level of services they provide. I don't want to mention the name of the other store just so you know this is a real comment not an ad. But if you are looking for something similar, there are other salons offer kids gel services at around $20 on West Broadway. Shop around before you walk in this one!

I was in town visiting my best friend and had about an hour to waste while they were in an appointment and walked into SoHo Beauty. They were very sweet and welcoming and had me paired with a technician right away. Polly was very sweet. We chatted while I picked out my color. She was so thoughtful and specific as she took care my nails I was so impressed. And then she gave me the most perfect manicure I think I've ever gotten. Each nail is painted flawlessly, not to thick with polish or bumpy in any way. The edges are all perfect and there's no hint of polish on my skin. I get my nails done regularly in Los Angeles where I live but I have never had such a spectacular walk in experience. I plan on visiting Polly every time I come to Vancouver. I wish I knew more people in this city to recommend her to. Thanks for my beautiful manicure Polly!

I've had the absolute pleasure of having my nails done by Polly since I first visited the salon. Her attention to detail and the precision of her technique are truly exceptional. I've had my nails done by Polly once a month for about two years now and I will come back 1000 times again to have my nails done by her. You're the BEST, Polly! ?

I had an awful experience at Soho. They did my nails like in a rush and when I showed my disappointment to the front desk girl, she was very rude to me and didn't offer any solution. Of course, after 2 days my nails started to peel off. The last change of management really ruined this place. I will not coming back.
