    I reached out to these guys wanting some self defense classes for women as one of my New Year's resolutions was to protect myself more, however, what I was looking for and what they offered were completely separate. I was looking for a simple basic course, not a whole class with it. The classes are a good price for what they are, however, it was a bit out of my budget for what I needed and aiming for. This review is based on the communication which is a huge thing for me. I did source out other schools (which is why the reviews can be one in the same).

    I've trained at several martial arts gyms in the past 5 years and I've never had the fantastic level of coaching that George provides. His attention to detail, knowledge of technique and extensive experience make him a very talented trainer. I've been there for about a 1.5 years and have never thought of switching. I've taken his beginners and intermediate kickboxing as well as the cardio class and they are all awesome. The cardio class is always tough, filled with functional movement and a good mix of exercises. It's helped me improve my fitness and supports my kickboxing training.     I realized long ago that I need to work out in a class, I just get too bored when I'm running or exercising at the gym on my own. I've tried aerobics, power yoga, spin, etc., and I've enjoyed some of them, but Reality Martial Arts is the first time I've really fallen in love with an exercise class and made a full 1-year commitment. The best thing about George's classes are the variety- there are usually several exercises that are regulars (mirrors, shoulder tag, etc.) but after almost a year of going there twice a week, I will always do at least a couple exercises per class that are brand new- a few group exercises, some solo, many with a partner.... read full review
