I was a loyal customer for many years at Poised Yaletown. From Nov 2023 - Apr 2024 I started going regularly for Stiletto Acrylic nails with chrome and each time they charged somewhere from $150-$200 and it took 2 hrs 15 mins - 2 hrs 30 mins to finish the job. Inefficient & costly but they were close to home and the nails looked good. In April, I didn't love the chrome on top and asked to change it one day after my appointment. They wanted to charge me another $15 to change the chrome. I was a bit surprised considering how much money I spend here and asked to speak to the manager who called me back with an attitude from the start and spoke to me in a condescending tone of voice. It was clear that getting an extra $15 was more important to her than keeping me as a loyal customer who paid this business $200 per month. Not good business sense and terrible way to treat a loyal and long term customer. The icing on the cake is I went to Vegas with this new set and on the first day the nail polish layer of 3 nails just came right off while I was at a pool party. I don’t understand what caused this 2 days after a new set nor could they explain it so I assume it was an expired product. I ended up getting my nails fixed in Vegas because I wanted my nails done for this trip so I had to spend another $200 USD at MGM spa for those 3 nails only because they didn't do nail fixes. So I’m missing the pool party and sitting at the nail salon for an hour fixing these nails. I told Poised Yaletown this when I came back and all they offered was to refix the 3 nails at no cost. So I sat with them for another 45 mins to fix the 3 nails. What a waste of time and money and they simply didn't care that I had to spend $400 + 3+ hours on this set. This business demonstrated terrible customer service, higher pricing than other salons, and they take significantly longer than other nail salons. I have worked in business and customer experience for over 20+ years. I recommend spending your time and money at a salon that actually cares about their customers instead of demanding $15 when a loyal customer is not happy.

My experience with Vita is great! She is so detail-focused and knowledgeable?. My nails look perfect every time She uses high-quality products, ensuring that my nails not only look good but also stay healthy. walked -in just for a wash and style ..fair price, and we'll attention to details in cleanliness of studio. Mas the Barber was friendly and peaked my interest as a fellow "better" barber, (learners mind) and instructor. These types of barbermen are more often than not, great. They had some professional products for my top and was fun and finished quick from a torn wet slick back..to dry smooth front crop. Would recommended for barber service on Davie in Yaletown if you want to walk in.
Requested style: I needed the style completely changed and he had no problems
