I came here on a Saturday to have a poke around at some sewing machines. This was my second visit to the few shops that sold sewing machines in Vancouver. Honestly, night and day in terms of service and attentiveness.
Sabine was welcoming, personable and let me play around with the machines. She gave me some options to think about, took my name and number and said she’d call me when they reopen on Wednesday to see how I went. Sure enough, after I had a few days to sleep on it and do some more research, I get her call and I end up closing on a Pfaff Select 4.2. Picked it up on the same day.
The place is cool. Museum of old machines on the top shelves, then all the display machines within reach. Looked like they had all the bits and bobs you’d need for your machine. Also looked like they repair machines too, which is comforting to see.
I’ll definitely be back, as I fumble my way through my sewing era.

This is a gem in the city. I bought needles and bobbins there yesterday. She used an old school credit swiper with paper slips which made my day.
I would love for everyone I know to support this store. Family run business for 50 years!

I called for some advice and got vm and with a full mailbox. But within minutes, I got a callback and a helpful recommendation. This a very cool spot for anyone who sews.

Besides being horribly unresponsive (try calling 20x in one day to prove a point and realize this for yourself) the secondhand machines they sell are utter garbage. They've been supposedly repaired but I've used mine 4 times and had to get it repaired before/after each time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from here.

This big store has a beautifully decorated selection of most models of Pfaff sewing machines in stock, as well as a smattering of other sewing products. Sabine was extremely helpful to me, but I did know exactly the model I wanted. I believe she would be great at helping you choose the best model for your needs. When I picked up my machine, she offered to show me how to thread it, but I thought it would be easy enough to follow the manual at home, which it was. I am sure I will be able to ask her on the phone if any questions come up. I will definitely be purchasing more accessories here, and it's nearby for repairs or maintenance needs. Their bookkeeping methods are a little dated; they accept only cash or credit cards, which they run through the old-fashioned carbon way. Receipts are hand-written neatly and in detail. I heartily recommend this store.

Sabine still remembered my name even though I hadn't come in for 3 years. The employees are knowledgeable, giving some tips for tension and showing me how to thread my machine properly after a long break from sewing. I feel so grateful for the kind and efficient service. I recommend this place if you want quality service. ?

The staff here were incredibly rude and snobby when they discovered that the presser foot I was looking for was not for a Pfaff machine. I might consider purchasing a Pfaff in the future, but it certainly will not be from this store.

My sister is a customer and introduced me to Pfaff on Granville a few years ago. I just upgraded 2 machines; one for taking to workshops (Pfaff 710) and the other my dream machine - the Pfaff Creative Icon 2. I also purchased my Pfaff Air Serger and Janome CoverPro from them. Plus I bought a recommended Janome for a beginner sewer. Sabine and team have always been superb ... welcoming, informative, never tried to upsell, have been patient with my many requests for buying extra accessories, and respond to emails and calls. They also do my annual servicing. 5 star staff and service from my experience!
