This Shop went above and beyond getting everything done very fast and keeping me updated with what’s happening and proving photos and videos of the problems and solutions, very good service.

Brought my car to Pawlik Automotive after being given quotations for work from Mazda main dealer for ~$3000; bottom line is that half the work order from the main dealer was bogus; car sorted for about 1/3 of the original estimate cost thanks to Pawlik's honest technicians and service writer, Scotty. An honest shop providing top quality work - highly recommended.

Great team at Pawlik who do excellent work at reasonable prices, whether an inspection for damages after hitting a pothole or replacing high end brakes. They are a place where you can take your vehicle and you feel confident that they will only repair what is needed, which is hard to find these days. You can trust them with your business.

Unfortunately for you I am not a bogus review. I had a scheduled appointment, but I walked out because of your outrageous price for a standard oil change and a 30 point visual inspection. I was told to go down the street. I would definitely not recommend you to any of my friends or colleagues.
Update after seeing Pawlik Auto’s response…..
Not sure why u can’t find my appointment. I brought my daughter’s Subaru forester on Oct 1, 2025 around 9:00am. So , no it is not a bogus review. I live in Ontario but we drove my daughter’s car out to BC and wanted your shop to do an oil change after a long drive. If u want to discredit my criticism of your high costs, so be it. Also, your service manager that spoke with me was very arrogant, however, I did hear u speak with another customer and you (Bernie) were very professional.

Would not recommend this shop if you don’t know what the exact problem is.
Even after opting for their higher price range of diagnostic, they weren’t able to find the root cause and purpose to fix my rear shocks.
Ended going to the factory dealership and they got it fixed within 5 hours and they said there’s nothing wrong with the shocks and does not need to be replaced.
Just another shop that maybe used to be good.

Huge shout out to Scotty and the team at Pawlik Automotive for helping me out with a very last minute pre purchase inspection of a Subaru Forester. They were extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful in arranging the inspection and giving me advice on the purchase. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending them to anyone.
