Oak Animal Hospital has been caring for my three cats since I came to live in Vancouver. Tommy is the last tabby standing and he now visits regularly for his mani-pedi. He will not let me near his nails but actually seems to love having them cared for at the vet. I do not know how they do it!! They are all cat whisperers. Unfortunately, my threesome all had very bad teeth. The dental care provided was exceptional. Most important to me, when my other two boys were ready to leave me, the care, kindness, concern, and empathy shown to me during that very difficult time was beyond expectations.

I found my last vet a bit too expensive and inconvenient to get to, so I recently switched over to Oak Animal Hospital after a glowing review from a coworker - and I was so impressed by the service (and how affordable it was!) - I couldn't be happier. The receptionists were so kind and welcoming (shout out to Rashelle who assisted with setting up my appointment and helping me decide if gabapentin was the right approach to use and the dosage) and Dr. Cheng was so patient, calm and caring towards my spicy girl Luna. Would 100% recommend Oak Animal Hospital!

I'm still in the middle of my first visit but I can already tell this will be my go-to vet from now on. I feel so fortunate that they're in my neighborhood! I managed to book an appointment on the same day and the cost was well within my budget. The staff were incredibly kind, informative, and the appointment didn't feel rushed or dismissive.
