After exhaustive research to find the right artist for a highly significant, large-scale project, I chose Alina Li at Liquid Amber Tattoo & Art Collective. It was the best decision I could have made. My project required an elite combination of razor-sharp fine-line geometry and advanced realism, specifically a custom double-headed eagle with a chiseled sword on one shoulder, and a textured Cross of Salem on the other. I am easily one of the pickiest, most detail-minded people on the planet when it comes to excellence. I had so much confidence in Alina’s portfolio that I trusted her implicitly without even needing to see initial drafts. She did not just meet my expectations; she tripled them.
From the first communication, the booking process was seamless. Alina is incredibly prompt, highly professional, and operates with a focused, straight-business approach during consultations. She listens intently, understands anatomy, and determines immediately how to scale and position a design so it flows perfectly with the natural movement of the body.
On the day of the session, the environment at Liquid Amber was immaculate. The studio operates with clinic-level sterility; Alina maintains rigorous hygiene standards, changing gloves and needles constantly, which gave me complete peace of mind. The front desk staff, particularly Emma, provided a welcoming, highly comfortable atmosphere from start to finish. Despite a minor system scheduling error on day one, the team handled it flawlessly. I had built provisions into my schedule for overtime because I value excellence over speed, and both Alina and Emma went completely above and beyond. When the clock ticked past our scheduled 4:00 PM cutoff, Alina chose to push the boundaries of her own time to achieve perfection, and Emma stayed late to keep the studio open.
The actual artwork is astronomical. When Alina pulled the outline of the eagle, I thought it was already perfect. But she kept pushing, layering detailed shading and final white highlights that made the piece completely pop. The sword is perfectly straight, the hilt is intensely detailed, and the entire design looks genuinely three-dimensional. On day two, we locked down the Cross of Salem with its precise vertical alignment, clean structure, and weathered stone texture.
Alina Li is a genius, and honestly, she is undercharging for work of this caliber. You could have all the money in the world and try to train someone to execute a piece like this, but you can never train or buy the raw passion and dedication that Alina automatically brings to the table. Every person deserves to feel like the art on their body is priceless, and that is exactly what Alina delivers. To have artwork of this astronomical tier on my body forever is an absolute honor. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! Emma is always a pleasure to speak to over the phone and the whole studio has a warm vibe. I went to Ashley Horncastle in December for my most recent tattoo and she absolutely nailed it. She’s a fantastic artist and did such an amazing job. She was very involved start to finish and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before starting and gave suggestions that made it even better. It’s healed perfectly and I can’t wait for my next tattoo with her!

The staff were all very friendly, and the atmosphere of the shop was quite relaxed with some good tunes and very cool art on the wall.
I was there to get a septum piercing from Ryan Tantrum, and he was very compassionate and professional, he answered all my questions, provided aftercare instructions, and he made the process really pleasant.
I would absolutely go back to see Ryan at Liquid Amber for my future piercings, and would recommend them to anyone.

Got my first tattoo, matching tattoos with my gf. We both love the Arsenal and got canons put on us. I was a bit scared of pain but Clara put us/me at ease and had a good journey from getting it to aftercare tips a few days later. Very professional and caring. I had a fantastic experience at Liquid Amber for my very first tattoo, done by Clara Ryu, in Feb 2026. I was quite nervous by Clara was extremely patient, helped me refine my idea for the piece, and she produced something I am VERY happy with.
The shop is beautiful and comfortable, and with the aftercare instructions, products, and follow-up, the hardest part was definitely getting myself in the door.

I recently got a 5.5-hour tattoo by Justina and I’m very happy about everything. She fixed and added on a small tattoo I had, and I’m very pleased with the results. I will be back with more if our styles align again.

My experience was a bit mixed. The booking process felt disorganized and scattered, and I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time before we started.
I also mentioned that I wasn’t completely happy with the placement and felt it was slightly off-centre, but I didn’t feel my concerns were fully addressed. In hindsight, I should have pushed back more before proceeding.
The studio itself was clean, bright, and professional. One thing to note is that it’s a very open-concept space, so if you’re looking for privacy while getting tattooed, this may not be the ideal setting.
The tattoo is well done, but the overall experience left me wishing there had been better communication and collaboration.
