Went in to pick up my husband's pants which were there for a basic hem. After much looking around in piles and bags strewn about the floor, "Johnny" finally found them- not hemmed! Come back in 15 minutes he said. Came back, $20 and no apology. My husband noticed how the hem was a bit puckered where stitched. Will now be taking them elsewhere and will never be back to Johnnys again.
Overpriced and very disorganized to put it mildly. I paid $70 to adjust the inseam for two pairs of pants. They also wanted an extra $5 because I paid with a credit card. Work was not done by the promised date because they forgot about it. Quality of work was adequate.
Came in to have some ties shortened. He did not measure the ties at all, but said he would only need to take 3 inches off, but I asked that he take off more. When I got the ties back, the hemming job was really sloppy (the edges weren't stitched well and they weren't even), and it was still way too long. I had to go to another tailor to have it shortened again and have the edges fixed. He quoted me $20 per tie for 5 ties, which totalled $100. When I came to pick up the order, he charged me $170 and didn't explain what it was for.
