DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.

I bought a refurbished laptop directly from the owner. After only about 48 hours of total use, the laptop started crashing. I ran diagnostics and found out the memory is damaged.

The worst part is that this model has the memory soldered directly onto the motherboard, meaning it cannot be easily replaced. In practical terms, the laptop is basically useless.

When I confronted the owner, his response was that unfortunately for me, the laptop had reached the end of its life. That is not an acceptable answer after selling something as “refurbished.”

From my experience, this business appears to be selling old laptops that should probably be recycled, reinstalling an operating system, and presenting them as refurbished machines.

In my opinion, the owner, Farshid, is not an honest businessman. I feel completely misled and ripped off.

Do not waste your money here. Do not trust this business.

Over charged and claimed that software was not included for a computer that i purchased from there. It wasnt software it was an operating system. i will never EVER go there again. Full on scam. and disrespectful. If i could give a zero- i would.

They sold me a computer that doesn't work. I am so mad it is unbelievable. they would not fix it. NEVER EVER purchase anything from here.

hilarious rental costs.
$150 per day (before taxes) for a 2012 era $1300 Sony VPL-FX37 Projector. For a projector screen, they charge closer to 50% of the purchase price of the screen per day. absolute joke

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at Downtown Computer Center and I truly recommend them to anyone needing reliable computer repairs. His MSI Vector A16 laptop suffered serious screen damage after a heavy object fell on it. The display had multiple black lines and was completely compromised. We called first, and they were very professional and clear about the process. They invited us to bring the laptop in so they could confirm the exact version and screen model.

Once there, they carefully opened the device to verify the internal display model number to ensure they would order the correct replacement. Their attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence. They replaced the screen with the exact same quality panel (240Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution) matching the original specifications perfectly.

When he received it back, it looked flawless. No scratches, no signs of repair, no imperfections. It honestly felt brand new again. We also checked the system specs afterward and confirmed that the display runs at the full 240Hz as it should.

Another huge plus: while his laptop was being repaired, they lent him a gaming laptop (RTX 2060 with 24GB RAM), allowing him to continue my work without delays. That level of service is exceptional.

They completed the repair faster than the estimated timeframe and offered a very fair price. Sending it directly to the manufacturer would have taken over a month and included shipping expenses.

I recently had an excellent experience with Downtown Computer Centre and I honestly couldn’t be more satisfied with their service.

I own an MSI Vector A16 laptop, and unfortunately a heavy object fell on the screen, completely damaging the display. It had black lines across it and was essentially unusable. I first called them to ask about pricing and availability, and they were extremely professional and polite over the phone. They asked me to bring the laptop in so they could verify the exact model version.

When I arrived, they carefully inspected the laptop and explained that they needed to open it in order to confirm the exact screen model number, since that information is located behind the panel. After verifying everything, they checked availability and ordered the correct replacement.

They replaced the screen with the exact same specifications: 240Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. When I picked it up, it honestly looked like nothing had ever happened. No black lines, no assembly marks, no scratches — the laptop was treated with extreme care. I even verified the specs afterward, and it is 100% legitimate with the full 240Hz just like the original display.

On top of that, my laptop had been experiencing Wi-Fi driver issues that caused random disconnections, interrupting my daily work. They kindly provided me with a USB Wi-Fi adapter FOR FREE so I could stay connected reliably. That small extra gesture made a huge difference.

What impressed me even more is that while they had my laptop, they lent me a gaming laptop (RTX 2060, 24GB RAM) so I could continue working without interruption. That level of customer care is rare.

They initially estimated 2–3 days for the repair, but it was completed even faster than expected. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to sending it directly to the manufacturer, which would have taken over a month and required shipping costs.

They are great. I was introduced to a massive pile of screws (1000s seemingly) when I came in with my computer(which was missing them).

I offered to pay for the screws I replaced but they said no so I will leave this review instead.
