It's a good place to get keys cut on Davie St. Around $4 a key. Quick and friendly. Browse a good selection of small purses, handbags, packs and luggage. Belts, souvenirs. Shoe repair is their main gig and looks like they do a pretty good business in a world of disposable stuff. There's something to be said for quality footwear that can be given new life and sole, and not many places do it anymore. Across from a grocery store so very convenient.

Fixed my men's dress shoes for about $50. It was one of the lowest prices around and the workmanship was very good. The repair was done in a few days and ready on schedule. Job well done.

I have my shoes repaired here quite frequently. They are efficient, quick, and inexpensive. Also unfriendly - I've been coming here for 7 years and the owner still acts as if she's never seen me before. But they look after my beloved footwear, so who cares. Parking on the street, often right out front.
