reduce, reuse, and recycle, should also include repair, that's what i did with my black pointy kitten heels. i've been so hard on my heels against the harsh downtown concrete that the dainty heel could no longer bear my weight, eventually broke off, exposing the screw, making that clackity, clack, clack with every other right foot that pounded the pavement. a quick search on yelp and i made my way to vancouver centre shoe repair. i entered through the scotia tower on 650 west georgia and took the elevator down to m for mall. it's on the same level as tim hortons, london drugs, bubble waffle, a sushi store and florist. i paid $15.75 and was able to pick up my shoes the...read full review

Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. On several occasions he made effort to educate me about my shoes, ie what needs repair and what doesn't, he s more concern about selling me the right products and service than to just to get me to spend money. (He's definitely told me NOT to buy things or get stuff from him because he knows it's not going work). Have been going to him for years and will continue to do so. I agree with some other comments here that he might not have the best customer service but I see that more of personality and not a reflection of his professionalism.

I got a topy for my new loakes here for a very reasonable price, and I've got to say, the job was very well done. The craftsmanship was very good, the job was very clean. I had to pick up my shoes 2 days before it was supposed to be ready, and I was pleasantly surprised that when I went to pick it up, it was ready to go! I will return in the future.
