I’ve been going to Chura Primo for about 2 years with Maki after moving away from Hastings Street, where I used to go to Chura Crescendo for many years.
Japanese hairstylists are honestly on another level. Their understanding of haircutting and geometry is amazing, and they really take your hair type and personal style into consideration.
I have extremely fine hair, so although I love layers, they need to be done carefully with disconnected layers and blunt ends to keep fullness. Maki completely understands this and has fixed bad haircuts I’ve had in the past while consistently giving me amazing hair every time.
