I brought my dog there because she stopped eating they were feeding her from her nose. I brought her to an expensive place because there was a vet 24/7. After 7 days they TOLD me to take her home to see how’s she does. I brought her home and at 5am she started screaming. I picked her up and she died in my arms and then started bleeding from her nose it was the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me

Poor staffing, poor handling of emergency requirements and triage, and charge for services they did not complete. Does not comply with specific instructions while falsely reassuring that they have. Only when it's too late do you find out they missed something critical.

Our cat passed away here and their behaviour has left us with doubts about not only their service but also their business practices. Reception wasn't staffed when we brought in our cat leaving us confused as to where to bring her. They delayed treating her for minutes because they required consent for critical care and didn't think to ask that right away. The doctors were very vague about our cat's chances. And finally they just called us that they forgot to take her paw prints AFTER we picked up her remains to bring her to a taxidermist. She was there for 5 days. And this was after they asked us what color we wanted the paw print to be in AND assurances that they had taken it. I am furious at their behaviour and frankly disappointed in their conduct. I don't blame them for not saving our cat, but their conduct afterward was highly unprofessional.

We had to be seen last night after our dog ingested an unknown substance and was acting very lethargic and had an unsteady gait. Our dog was brought in immediately for assessment. We are very impressed with the care that we received. Thank you so much. The Vet we saw provided great explanations to us.

Bugsy got hurt and the doctor saw him quickly and discovered he had a thorn in his foot! She was quick to figure out what was wrong and got us in and out so quickly and kindly. Needless to say it's extra stressful when your pet gets hurt while visiting another country. Thank you for making it quick and painless for us.

We had a late night emergency with our rabbit Buttercup. The staff and vets were all great. Very helpful and patient with all our questions. Thank you very much!

Our biggest mistake was bringing our labrador retriever to this place after she was hit by a car and suffered a dislocated shoulder. They kept her for TWO DAYS before a surgical consult happened. Had she been treated immediately, surgery would not have been needed. So glad we pulled her out of there and went to Canada West Animal Hospital where she received excellent care. Nonetheless, the negligence of Burrard St cost us far more money than it should have, and set our dog up for a life with arthritis.

They were great! I took Esca in after 9pm, because she had eaten most of her lick mat, and they quickly saw her and took care of her. All of the staff were very nice.

Ash loves spending time outside, but we try to meet this need as safely as possible. I don't believe in free roaming indoor/outdoor cats, so since she was a kitten, Ash has been harness and leash trained. My fiance and I take her outside frequently. A couple evenings ago Ash started chewing on a bush. We didn't know what kind of bush it was so we looked it up to find that it was a yew, highly toxic to cats! When I was unsuccessful at getting her to throw up with a small amount of peroxide, we took her to Burrard Animal Hospital. They took her back immediately to triage her. They told us that while she seemed fine, she was drooling a bit, and they wanted to keep her for 12-24 hours over night to observe and run tests to see if the toxins were in her heart. It was a very long and hard night and following morning, but we finally got the news that she was doing well and we could come and get her. Thank you for taking good care of our baby, she has such a big personality, our home wouldn't be the same without her.

I cannot thank this clinic and their staff enough for helping a severely injured squirrel I found that was beyond hope of saving. I had been turned away by the SPCA and several other vet clinics and was getting desperate in what I should do next as I didn’t want him to suffer unnecessarily. The lady at the front desk was so compassionate, took him in without hesitation, and thanked me for bringing him in.
