I recommend Big Bro’s to all my gender diverse friends. I feel so seen and I get the most gender-affirming cuts. I’ve been lucky to have cuts from nearly all staff, and they’ve been awesome. I’m so happy y’all are here :)

Alex made me feel safe to get my hair cut for the first time in years. I was able to make some requests that others may have seen as weird, but he was happy to accommodate me to make me feel as safe as possible. He did not once make me feel like I was a burden for needing extra care and was amazing about checking in throughout the cut to be sure I was still comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone with autism, ptsd, schizophrenia, or any other condition that may make it hard to trust another person in this position. Truly a very special experience for me. Came here twice and was late both times on accident, but the ppl there were very kind and super good at cutting hair. The only hair stylists I’ve been able to find that can do more alternative styles and can do masculine styles that don’t make me dysphoric.
