I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and would not recommend it.

I came in to have my acrylic nails removed. While I was on the phone and slightly distracted, the technician took another acrylic nail and tried to wedge it underneath one of my existing acrylics to pry it off. The nail was still tightly attached, and it caused immediate pain. I looked up because it hurt, and I politely asked if she could remove them by filing and soaking instead, as that is the removal method I have always had done at other salons. She responded by rolling her eyes at me.

The experience only got worse from there. While using the electric file, my nails repeatedly felt extremely hot and were burning. I was in significant discomfort and asked why the process was hurting so much. Instead of adjusting her technique or checking on my comfort, she sighed, dropped her arms in frustration, and acted annoyed that I was expressing pain.

Acrylic removal should not be a painful process. No client should be expected to sit through burning, pain, or having nails pried off. I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment, as though getting through my service quickly was more important than doing it properly and safely.

In addition, the acrylic sets done the shaping is often uneven or inaccurate and when asked for adjustments, they appear irritated and frustrated even though customers are paying for a service and simply want the results they requested.

Overall, this was an unprofessional and uncomfortable experience with a lack of customer service, poor technique, and very little concern for client comfort.

They were very nice and kind although they kept on messing up when they were making the flowers on my nails and they had to redo them 2-3 times

Absolutely horrible experience. I went in for a face wax around 1:10 PM date- 4/16/2026 and walked out with burns and multiple dark spots on my face.

Instead of taking any responsibility, they just told me to “apply Vaseline.” When I said I couldn’t get it right away, they simply said they can’t do anything. After damaging my skin, this is the kind of response?

Then they expect me to travel from Vancouver to Richmond just to apply aloe vera—completely ridiculous and careless.

This place is highly unprofessional and irresponsible. Do not go here. If these marks don’t heal, I will be taking strict action.

I had a disappointing experience at Lexi Nail.
I went in for a simple manicure, but there was a clear misunderstanding from the start. The staff assumed I wanted nail extensions (acrylics) and began cutting my nails before I realized what they were doing. I had to stop them and explain again that I only wanted a basic manicure. Instead, they proceeded with a gel polish.
Unfortunately, the quality of the service was very poor. My nails did not look good at all by the end, but I didn’t say anything at the time. Even worse, the gel polish started peeling off just two days later, which is unacceptable.
On top of that, the salon environment was very dirty, which made the whole experience even more uncomfortable.
Overall, the service lacked attention to detail, proper communication, and basic cleanliness. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

I am really disappointed with my experience at Lexi. I wanted white french tips and showed her a picture. she forgot to ask me what shape I wanted and cut my nails square, but I told her it’s fine as it was too late and if she gave me the shape I wanted my nails would’ve been too short. So i overlooked that, and told her to continue. I got home and realized how uneven they were and was very unsatisfied with the service and called back the next day asking if she could fix it. She argued with me a lot and denied the fact that she forgot to ask me what shape, then later accepted that she did and offered to fix the shape but said if while fixing the shape, the polish gets off, she won’t fix that.
This was very sad and disappointing because I have been going there since 7 years.
I also spent close to $90 and this is really upsetting.

Not pleased with Elaine at lexi .my nails are un even with product being to much in nail bed to thin on tips ,you can feel the dip in the nails.
not a very clean nail salon either and is very unsanitary.

They made me feel so special for my birthday today with a sweet greeting. I really appreciate the personal touch and the great service.

My nails are my favorite accessory now. Thank you for the amazing service and deal.
