I came in for a walk-in appointment and was immediately put off by the stylist’s attitude. When I greeted her, she ignored me and bluntly asked what I wanted, which set the tone for the entire service.
I showed multiple inspiration photos to clearly communicate what I was looking for, but my bangs were cut far shorter than requested without proper consultation. I was only asked if they were “okay” after they had already been cut, which didn’t leave any room for real input.
When I asked for face-framing layers, the cutting felt rushed and overly aggressive rather than precise. Even the receptionist and another stylist acknowledged that the cut was uneven and offered to fix it, but by that point my hair was already too short to correct.
The hygiene and professionalism were also concerning. The stylist handled my hair roughly and did not brush it properly. Her hands smelled strongly of cigarettes while working close to my face, and I could clearly see a full pack of cigarettes in her stylist cape during the appointment. At one point, she also coughed directly behind my head.
I also had to ask for my hair to be styled at the end, which should be standard.
While the front staff were kind and acknowledged the issue, management refused to provide a refund and only offered to “fix” a haircut that could not realistically be corrected due to the length already being taken off.
This experience was extremely uncomfortable and far below expectations in both service and professionalism.

Hair dressing one o one. Do not let your customers leave with hair dye all over their face and ears. Definitely do NOT recommend this salon. Hair colour all over my face in my ear, neck. Will never go back

This is the only salon that I will go to. I have a stylist does an amazing job every time she listens to what I ask for and always goes above and beyond at every appointment. Everyone else there is amazing and helpful. After dealing with other salons that don't do what I ask for even when shown pictures of what I would like going to a salon that does is great. I would 100% recommend Charlie's Girl to all my friends.

Drove from out of town to get my hair cut and a root touch up... I found the stylist rude and deliberately belligerent.. to walk away and leaving me to rinse my own hair out ... I left this place crying because I felt bullied and belittled.. be careful going to this place

Shoutout to Destiny and the entire team for going above and beyond for me this week!
After my original appointment last Saturday (where they did warn me that, being a level 7, the pigment might not hold), I went back on Thursday to add colour to some blonde spots. Somehow, my hair ended up turning green—and no one was quite sure why at first. We later found out it was due to my hair’s porosity, which made the colour grab unevenly.
Instead of brushing it off, they contacted other salons and even the Joico helpline to figure it out. As soon as they had answers, they called me back in and made it right.
They made me feel seen and didn’t hesitate to cheer me up when I felt silly for crying over green hair.
I really appreciate the effort, kindness, and care they put into fixing everything. Thank you again!

I had a very snippy older woman cut my hair. She open-mouth coughed on the back of my head and roughly brushed the centre of my hair (instead of starting at the ends). The price was ridiculous for a dry trim

Hairdresser was rude and getting snippy with me when I asked for simple things such as wetting the hair or cutting it more in certain places. She cut my hair super short when I said I only wanted a few inches off. The cut was super choppy and rushed as well. It seemed like she got annoyed with me and just started hacking off chunks as she pleased.

I went there January 20th, 2026, at around 5:30pm. I asked for some hair care products and the girls rolled her eyes! If thsts the service they provide, I recommend the other salon in the mall. Pay hard earned money and they dont appreciate it! Dont WASTE your money here!!

I only put 1 star ⭐️ for my review because I don’t like the service. My nails were awful.😞 I came here last year and same person who handled me. My hair bangs were not EVEN both sides. The other side was short and the right side was long. I forgot the name of the lady who handled me, coz I don’t want her to handle me on my next visits. Overall all the place was very nice and the receptionist was lovely. ☺️
