I recently moved to town with my senior dog. Birchwood was amazing with helping with the end of life things. I missed my furry friend and decided go adopt a puppy. He is amazing the first day and but had contacted parvo. He rapidly became very ill. Once again Birchwood stepped up and between them and the Humane Society my little guy received top notch care. He is on day two of his recovery and is starting to show signs of his sweet, goofy nature again. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences with Birchwood even though they have been a part of some of my hardest days. Fabulous team ❤️
I’ve always been happy with my visits at Birchwood. The doctors, techs, and front end staff have been professional and informative. Willing to squeeze me in when something unexpected happens. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet.
I just had to do the ultimately hardest part of being a pet owner and that was to euthanize my precious little kitty Archie. Not one part of this is easy on anyone including the vets and vet techs and they made the best of the situation possibly for us. They went on this journey with me from the moment Archie got sick. We tried everything we could with the cards that were dealt and I thank the employees for helping and supporting my wants and needs the entire time. A pet is a family member to me and Archie was one of a kind to boot so it was important for me to make this moment as calm and peaceful as possible so thank you for playing lovely music, keeping the room quiet, and being there while I balled my eyes out. I just picked up his ashes today and down to the smallest of details they truly made it comforting/special. The little flowers, tree of life pendant, and the little kitty paw charm was the icing on the cake. I could feel and see their remorse and that was truly comforting and kind. When it comes to this point it can be a very difficult and heartbreaking situation to witness and under all the circumstances I just wanted to say I appreciate what yall did for us.
