After obtaining several quotes and speaking to various contractors, Peter from PR Heating stood out as the right fit for our difficult project. Living in a Townsite home, we faced unique challenges that other companies weren't eager to tackle.
While previous contractors insisted a ductless split was the only way to go, we were wanted to keep our existing ducted system. Peter actually took the time to provide solutions and a plan to make it work within the constraints of an older home.
We had a new heat pump installed, along with updated returns and supplies to the necessary areas. The entire process was properly planned and well executed. Peter’s crew was professional and courteous, they took great care to protect our home’s interior and left the work areas spotless.
Additionally, we had a panel upgrade performed by a separate contractor, and Peter coordinated between the teams perfectly. He made a complex installation feel like a breeze. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone in Powell River, especially those dealing with the complexities of an older property!

We were told to buy ice here and this place sold all kinds of stuff. Most items were sold in bulk. Ice was decently priced. The place is set a bit further back from the road so you would miss it without GPS. Just park on the street and walk back, checking the unit number. It is closed on weekend so buy all the ice you need.
I’ve been seeing Andra for over a decade and since moving to Montreal, I can’t find someone as good as her so I waited until my recent visit back to Powell River to get a great cut. She trimmed my goatee and eyebrows too. She truly is the best!

This is the second time we have bought flooring through Custom Flooring. The measurements were very precise with little excess. Love the flooring we put in our first home so we ended up getting the same vinyl flooring for our 2nd. We even had the stair nosing custom molded by a fellow in the Gibsons store and they look amazing!

We hired Westview Drywall to drywall our kitchen and stairwell walls and ceiling. It was a tough job as many of the walls and ceiling were very high. Chris did a great job, with attention to detail and did it in a timely manner. He was meticulous in his work and the result showed that. My wife and I were very pleased with the result.
