About The Salvation Army Thrift Store
The Salvation Army Thrift Store is a popular destination for pre-loved secondhand goods, offering a wide range of items including clothing, accessories, housewares, and more for all sizes and ages. Many shoppers appreciate the lovely and patient staff, as well as the variety of great deals available. However, some customers have expressed concerns about rising prices, noting instances where items in poor condition are priced high due to brand names. Popular among locals, the store can attract large crowds eager to shop. While the selection is often praised, some shoppers have experienced issues with packaging for fragile items, which can lead to concerns during transport. Overall, The Salvation Army Thrift Store remains a favorite spot for those seeking affordable options while supporting community programs.
I don’t understand this “Thrift store”.
You get given free items then price them like they’re new. What am I missing?
And the donation receiving guy that’s always grumpy?
What is going on?!
Wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m the past I’ve gotten some excellent deals here but they’re shaping up to be far from their True North (if it ever was true).
Looking for somewhere else to donate my stuff.
I am deeply concerned about management of this store.
I shop at this store very often, nearly weekly, and the staff are generally good. But, they are clearly under stress constantly which causes them to lash out. Furthermore, I have noticed that many negative reviews here are met with an offer to email the customer services wing.
I need management to understand it is your responsibility to route complaints, not the customers.
You are replying to people who have had a negative experience and asking them to do more work to fix it when it is your responsibility. This does nothing to help, only further inflaming the situation and leading to more conflicts...read full review
The prices have become ridiculous. I left many things behind that I would have otherwise purchased but the price deterred me. A kids backpack for 17.00 that has stains or rips... multiple of the same brand all with flaws being sold at thia price. Lulu lemons with flaws etc. These things should be priced accordingly to their condition and not the brand name.
Helly hansen rain coat looks brand new but selling for $50.... I would go to a consignment store that atleast has quality control.
