I am extremely disappointed with my experience.
I brought my cat in after she began vomiting bile. I was initially quoted nearly $900 for X-rays due to additional services being included. After discussing the estimate, the cost was reduced to approximately $400. The X-rays revealed an intestinal blockage.
I was then quoted just over $5,000 for surgery. In my opinion, this was way too expensive. I took my cat home to monitor her condition. I contacted another veterinary clinic and was quoted approximately $2,000 for the same procedure and began making arrangements for treatment.
Before those arrangements were finalized, my cat unexpectedly started eating again and passed the object on her own. Her condition improved significantly.
What shocked me most was that three days later I received a notice from the SPCA with a case number alleging neglect, refusal of veterinary care, and that my cat was suffering. At no point did I refuse care for my pet. I sought out veterinary care, obtained diagnostic imaging, explored treatment options, and continued monitoring her condition while arranging alternative care.
Based on my experience, I felt pressured by the pricing and was deeply upset by the subsequent SPCA notice. I cannot recommend this clinic.

The staff at Norgate were very friendly and accommodating. I brought in my two newly adopted senior cats for a physical and the vet was very gentle handling them and explained everything he was doing and seeing as he was giving them the exam. I appreciated all the recommendations and there was no sales push for any of their products. Thank you Norgate

I would just love to thank the team at Norgate for always being so helpful and loving to my family and especially my senior yorkie Bailey. In this year alone, the vets have helped Bailey recover from pancreatitis and (when I thought she was going blind from old age) literally restored her vision with an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for conjunctivitis. She is in such good spirits right now, fully herself again thanks to the intelligent folks at Norgate. Thank you guys for your consistent honesty, care and flexibility, it’s so appreciated. (And I’m sure Bailey appreciates it too).

We have been impressed by all of the veterinarians and staff at Norgate Animal Hospital since we switched veterinary clinics about two years ago. Always compassionate and supportive. We highly recommend their services.

It was our first time visiting this clinic and we had the pleasure of meeting with Dr Danny Sidhu. I was very impressed and felt well taken care of even for our very quick visit. He was such a gentle, kind man and had a very calming energy about him. He was so sweet to our dog and I am thankful for his time and service after hours! Thank you again for your time with Finnley!

we love Norgate animal hospital! they've always been there for us and provided the most trusted advice. we moved away to another city and we still choose to come back to Norgate because they are professional, competent and even though their office isn't super fancy like the other ones, they really know what they're doing. 😊

Always excellent and helpful staff here. Caring and they almost always have my cat's food in stock.
