My wife and I have been long-time patients of Dr. Torshizi. Our experiences have been entirely satisfactory. The doctor's demeanour is friendly but thoroughly professional. He listens carefully, answers questions, and explains treatment options fully. When Dr. Torshizi has suggested referrals to specialists, those doctors have been well chosen. Telephone or in-person appointments at Marine Drive Medical Clinic are usually available without much delay. The Pharmasave branch in the same building is also excellent.

My mother had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Esmaeil Akbarnezhad. She visited him urgently due to a skin issue that required proper attention. Unfortunately, she was not properly examined, and the doctor did not take the time to carefully look at the problem.
Despite her concerns, she was told that there was no issue without a thorough evaluation. No proper examination was done, and she was simply sent home.
Overall, it felt like her concerns were not taken seriously and her time was wasted. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this doctor to others.

Dr. Dahi is truly one of the best doctors in the area. He has been my family doctor, and I have greatly benefited from his care and support over time. What sets him apart is that he never treats his work like just a business — he genuinely cares about his patients.
He always takes the time to listen, have meaningful conversations, and understand the root of the problem rather than rushing through appointments. He is also very reliable and attentive when it comes to appointments, which I truly appreciate.
His approach makes you feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for.
I am very grateful for everything he has done for me. Since coming to Canada, he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Thank you, doctor, for your outstanding work and dedication.

If I could give zero stars I would have. This is the worst medical clinic in whole lower mainland, horrible and I mean absolutely useless reception staff. if you're looking for a family doctor this place is the last place you want to go to. Absolutely horrible.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Omid Torshizi for years, and I can confidently say he is an exceptional GP. He is respectful, personable, and truly masters his field of practice. What stands out most is his honesty, compassion, and humility qualities that make patients feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. He upholds high ethical standards, provides excellent service, and is consistent with follow-ups. On top of that, he’s always in a good mood, which creates a very positive experience at every visit. I highly recommend Dr. Tarshizi to anyone looking for a dedicated and trustworthy family doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Dahi for 8 years. I've always struggled with problems with the front desk staff - from them forgetting to send prescriptions to pharmacies (and me running out of meds), to mixing up paperwork, sending prescriptions to the wrong location, being rude, etc. My final straw today is that I can't book more than a 5 minute appointment with my doctor. I'm always very succinct in my conversations with Dr Dahi, but I wanted to be able to ask a few questions at the appointment. Two different front desk staff refused to allow me to book even two back-to-back appointments. There have been several times I've almost dropped Dr Dahi as a GP, not because of his work, but because the front desk staff are so frustrating to work with.

Staff are very friendly! Very accommodating!

Reception doesn’t work cuz doctors don’t ask them. Doctor doesn’t work cuz they know is difficult to find a family doctor.
