My hair is healthy - a plus. It is also very fine, very straight, and any fancy cuts or styles I might like to try would only happen with much fuss, and a great deal of product. I am a wash & wear girl - heading into my 7th decade I am not changing that anytime soon.
I have to be very careful with layering as my hair is so fine - any miscuts show up like a bold neon sign. I have tried them in the past with dreadful results.
Even though my hair is fine, there is a great deal of it, so it gets warm in the heat of summer. I was willing to risk layering it for the cool comfort it would give.
